Lightness is delightful. Thumbing its nose at gravity, Werrington is from our latest collection, all of which have high-density acetate fronts and titanium temples, resulting in some of our lightest frames to date. You’ll have spotted the classic yet delicate oval frame of course, with a keyhole bridge.
This collection combines the lustre of cellulose acetate with the strength and beauty of titanium. Weighing just 7g, the ethereal form feels so light it barely exists. It does exist though.
The fronts are reimagined in high density acetate (HDCA), just 3mm deep and 1.8mm thick. HDCA is stronger and lighter than regular acetate.
Its graceful titanium temples are riveted to the front, allowing the wearer’s head to be gently papoosed within its graceful grasp (and tip inspired by Brancusi’s Bird in Space).
