KEYSTONE CRESCENT • KING'S CROSS
Keystone is named after Keystone Crescent, a small residential street off of Caledonian Road. Formerly housing The Caledonian Asylum for Scottish Children, the crescent was built in 1846. Originally named Caledonian Crescent, it was developed in response to the new transportation link between the New Road (Euston Road) and the Holloway area. Composed of identical two storey townhouses with bricks set in Flemish Bond and Welsh slate roofs, the street’s claim to fame is in being the smallest radius of any crescent in Europe.
