Our Mission

We are a modern spectacles company founded in King’s Cross, London in 2013. By combining traditional frame craft with modern methods, we hope to revive Britain’s long lost optical legacy.

Our mission is this. To make the finest spectacles we can. To make the process of buying prescription frames enjoyable, engaging and informative. To be fair, open and honest with our customers. To use the best of modern technology, and continually reinvest to help us achieve our goals.

We currently have ten stores in London, with more on the way and ambitious plans for the future. We’re looking for exceptional people to join us as we put these plans into practice.

The Role:

  • To build a team that delivers consistent exceptional customer experience, putting this at the forefront
  • Ensure the seamless running of the new store by working closely with our HQ departments
  • Successfully manage all dispensing activities and be responsible for your team’s optical learning and progression
  • Act as an ambassador for Cubitts, helping to educate and excite others about our mission and company story
  • Clearly communicate daily focuses to the team underpinned by our brand values
  • To comfortably explain eye health, eyewear and prescription terminology to patients
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge as well as accurately explaining features and benefits of various lenses and Cubitts frames
  • To ensure your team provides impeccable lens and frame selection, ensuring perfecting fitting frames
  • Participate in weekly trade calls and weekly meetings setting focuses and goals based on performance
  • Ensure exceptional housekeeping standards and follow company procedures to protect inventory and assets
  • Manage recruitment needs and provide ongoing training and development for all team members
  • Oversee the timely execution of product launches and all displays in line with company direction
  • Plan events and develop outreach to build relationships with the local community in order to drive revenue and create brand awareness
  • To master all the skills needed for repairing and restoring Cubitts frames
  • To lead the team in Made to Measure and services, supported by our marketing leading technology.

Who you are:

  • 2-3 years of management with optical experience
